 We operate a small side-line business raising open-mated queen bees from proven hygienic stock with gentle disposition and excellent honey production history.

NO Chemical Treatments or Miticides
 are used in our hives or mating NUCs! 

   Our open-mated queens are sold only after we have observed successful mating, evidenced by a good solid laying pattern.

 We do NOT ship queens or queen cells. Pick-Up only.

  You are invited to visit our mating yards at pick-up on weekends and may inspect and select the queens of your choice!  Just like a pet store!  When you leave our yard, you will have no doubt that your queen is mated and laying - you don't get that kind of confidence when you receive queens in the mail!
And best of all, you won't bring any new pests or diseases into Virginia!
